DeerSeasonCheck is an informational tool that evaluates official season rules for a specific combination of inputs. It does not provide legal advice, issue licenses, verify your identity, validate a license or tag, establish land access, grant hunting permission, or guarantee that any hunting action is lawful.
What a calendar match means
An IN_SEASON result means only that the selected civil date and deer class are within the published ordinary tag-calendar window for the manually selected wildlife unit. It is not an open-now, shooting-hours, weapon-eligibility or permission-to-hunt result. Special-tag and special-place exceptions are not determined by ordinary dates.
Source accuracy
The scoped calendar is checked against official regulations and the current state digest. Emergency closures can override the published calendar between checks. Current-order completeness is unverified; consult current NH Fish and Game notices, the Conservation Officer and applicable land manager before hunting. Expired evidence is withheld rather than silently renewed.
